Band to be set-up before evening guests arrive at 7pm Band DJ service has been booked. Disco service between sets (bring Christmas tunes) Band finish at 1am, DJ through until 2am (should be in-house DJ) Organised by Steve Massara (from band ‘Twenty Four Seven’) who is acting on behalf of The Thistle Hotel. From contract… 1. On NYE 31st Dec Band to play approximately from 9.30/10pm onwards (once diners have finished) with a break and end at 1am. Disco through to 2am 2. A meal and refreshments willbe provided to Love Junkies on the night 3. All equipment must be PAT tested with a current certificate and have cover for Public Liability Insurance. ITINERARY (From Steve Massara) When you arrive ask reception to confirm a room for you to use to change in etc and leave any items etc. You are playing in the restaurant suggest you are set up by about 6:30 There will be champange reception in the reception area at 7 so you will need to get the gear into the restaurant by about 5:30 assuming it takes an hour to set up Dinners will come in by 7:15 and sit down for 7:30 In theirbrochure Thistle say they have a resident Disco playing on NYE. I need to check this out as I have not been asked to provide any separate disco.They have made mistakes in the past! Either way you will be expected to play 2 x one hour sets min between 10-1 ish. The staff at the Thistle are very friendly and helpful and it should be busy so you should have a great gig.
