Earlier this month The Love Junkies convened at Anchor Baby in deepest darkest Kent to shoot a new show reel. The aim of the game, to shoot a video capturing the heart of the band live, showing as informally as possible the musicianship, personality and look of the band, whilst showcasing the best new contemporary songs from the set list.
The video gives a taster of the band live, a medley of seven of their most popular dance floor fillers. Emeli Sande’s ‘Next to me’, Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’, Maroon 5’s ‘Moves like Jagger’, Plan B’s ‘She Said’, Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’, Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’ and Florence & The Machine’s ‘You’ve got the Love’.
Singer, Rox “We wanted to produce this video and show people – we’re a marvellous party function band for your wedding, birthday, or whatever you fancy getting us down to,” goes on firmly tounge in cheek “…we’ve been in the studio to record a fabulous live demo for you, live lounge style, of just a little taster of what you could get at your wedding, event or birthday. Seven nuggets, a tasty tapas, a boogie buffet for your delight“.
The video was recorded at Anchor Baby Recordings by Double Barrell Media. The band would like to thank Dan Lucas and Keith Lawrence for their expertise and time on the day. Regular bass player Andee Price wasn’t able to join us for this session and was ably replaced on the day by long time Junkster, Chris Wong.
